Did Swansea attack us at home?
Both of Wigan’s goals were scored on the counter. Largely because of Arteta’s injury.

Rocky made a good point the other day (there’s a surprise) about being more afraid of the Wigan’s and Swansea’s ie the teams that do come and attack us at home, rather than the Busers.
I put some of the results last season down to complacency. We were very slow out of the blocks in both games with one or two “strollers” in the side.

GIE, you’re right. Goes back to the parking of the buses at the Emirates. Teams always seem to score against us at home on the counter, because they never really attack us outright.

Thanks chas, actually I consider GiE as being in the ‘realistic spectrum’ with his analysis of Arsenal. I am really upbeat about our team and chances for this season – I could be slightly bitter about the important changes that we have finally made coming a few seasons too late though
