Lovely day here which means a long coast side cycle. Great but would much prefer be watching some football.

Cesc to anywhere in the PL is a horrible thought. I think he will get more games with the brilliant Xavi getting close to his pension.

Micky re Cesc/vP that would indeed be horrible. Can only hope that Cescs tweet re feeling sick at the sight of RvP in ManUre tablecloth was meant and he wouldn’t do it to us too.

I actually feel a little sorry for Cesc, courted by “his mates” in the Barca/Spain squads only to get there and realise he wasn’t first choice or actually needed.

Another thought occurred to me on Song. He stressed that he didn’t want to leave, but one has to wonder why he didn’t stay then, he had no reason to leave, yes we accepted an offer but like anyone with three years left he could have said “no I’m staying”.
