Story is that Song was lazy, turned up late for training and refused to carry out instructions of coaching staff, for a period of more than 6 months.

In addition, with 3 years left on his contract, his agents were agitating for a new contract (double the dosh) and touting him to clubs around Europe.

AW, rightly, got p’ed off and said enough, get him out, much to Song’s surprise, allegedly.

Seems about right, given the circumstances of his departure.
